Star Lab Planetarium Presentations for Families, Schools and Youth Organizations

Basic Fee includes:

1. Preliminary 30-minute meeting to discuss your program needs and determine program area requirements (outlets, floor space – Star Lab is 18’ x 21’ and 11’ high)
2. Deliver and set up Star Lab in a pre-cleared area of your facility
3. Present up to three programs in one day (20 to 40 minutes in length depending on audience); maximum capacity for Star Lab is 25 elementary students plus 2 teachers/adults, 20 middle / high school students and one teacher/adult. All guests get a handout or special take-away.
4. Star Lab is taken down and removed from site

Basic Program:
Seasonal sky (select from spring, summer, fall or winter) stars and their Greek mythology

Custom Programs:
A customized program can be designed to fit your needs. Pricing will vary based on content and needs. Customized programs can be discussed during the preliminary meeting.

Fees: $400 minimum for one 4-hour program for local clients
25% of all fees are donated to the NJAA to continue astronomy education outreach.


GiannaNJAA's Star Lab Ambassador - Gianna Leach



Gianna is a certified Star Lab presenter and has been working in astronomy education since 2007. She has presented basic and custom Star Lab programs to Somerset County 4H, Voorhees High School Star Parties, Hampton School, Clinton Elementary School, Immaculate Conception School, youth carnivals and activities at the NJAA and more!

Astronomy is her passion and she continues to share this stellar enthusiasm through her programs.
